Sorting of plastic

The recovery of a specific type of plastic, as well as other recyclable materials, is an increasingly important challenge for the processing industry.

Through intensive research and development, our supplier Redwave always offers the latest in sorting technology. The application areas in plastic sorting are often very diverse. For example, hollow containers (PET, HDPE, PP, etc.), films (LDPE, PP, etc.) and biodegradable plastics can be efficiently recovered and extracted, while chlorine-containing compounds (PVC), plastics with flame retardants, paper, wood, and metals can be effectively removed from the waste stream.

Redwave can sort plastic in the following fractions:

Husholdningsaffald sortering - ReTec    Household waste

Elektrisk affald WEEE sortering - ReTec    Electric waste

Industriaffald sortering - ReTec    Construction waste

Erhvervsaffald sortering - ReTec   Industrial waste

RDF sortering - ReTec   RDF

Plast Flager sortering - ReTec   Flakes

Separation and sorting of plastics provide an economic benefit, higher plant capacity, and high quality/purity in the final fractions. Redwave has developed a machine that can sort plastics as well as the associated impurities. You can read more about the sorting machine here: 2i.
